Australian ALM Conference and the Visual Studio 2010 launch

So in just over 3 weeks time it will be time for the launch of Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 and from what I’ve seen so far since Tech.Ed 2009, I can’t wait! There’s lots of new stuff & improvements coming up in Visual Studio 2010 and here’s a quick list just to name a few areas that have had revamping:

  • New Appearance & Behaviour
  • Tools to Help You Quickly Explore Code
  • Debugging
  • IDE Features Correspond to Project Capabilities
  • Test-First Support
  • Application Lifecycle Management

You can see a list of changes in Visual Studio 2010 on the Visual Studio 2010 Product Highlights page.

ALM & the supporting tools that are available in Visual Studio 2010 were some of the things that I’ve found very interesting during Tech.Ed last year. If you wish to find out more about ALM and how Visual Studio 2010 provides tools that support then make sure you are in Sydney at the Australian ALM conference which is being held on the 13th and 14th of April at Luna Park. The official launch of Visual Studio 2010 in Australia will also be at this event.
